Hey, wanted to touch base and let everybody know I got a call from a contact with Interpol asking me to check into a woman named Janet Lyton. She's coming over on a flight from the UK and she's got some kind of artifact with her. Thought it might tie into the stolen stuff everybody's been looking into the past week or so. I'm taking Namor and Ev with me to check it out, see about taking her to the proper, legal authorities. Those authorities would be SWORD agents, by the way, since the artifact she's smuggling in is apparently an 'item of power,' whatever that means.

I'll keep all of you updated. Doesn't seem like she'll put up much of a fight. She's allegedly an archaeologist with no special training. (I know, I know. Famous last words.)

Okay, so Lyton brought some mutant friends along for her trip, which we were sort of but not really prepared for. Shoddy intel on Interpol's part, which is where I'm left kinda just side-eyeing them. But whatever. Turns out they're mercs. Turns out Miss Rachel Kinross works with them sometimes. They kept us busy enough for her to get away on the AirTrain. We're all very impressed with Namor's ability to hold onto a bumper for the long haul.

No one actually injured on our side of things. The mercs didn't fare so well, but Rachel talked them into leaving things and then we talked her into sticking around instead of flying off with them. So that's a good thing, yeah?

Next up, I've asked Dom to do facial rec using the photo Interpol sent me. Hopefully we'll get a hit.

My team of really awesome people, we'll be looking into this more officially now, so any volunteers for a pickup once we've located Lyton would be much appreciated.
