A Cup of Tea and a Good Book
Jul. 5th, 2019 02:14 pmxp_daytripperOr, in this case, a pot of what Angie calls my "burning tractor tyre" high-caffiene tea and a dusty Asgardian Tome that was apparently buried in a peat bog, to judge from the smell.
In other words, I've been going through the book Drumm left us with the other day. It's actually useful, which means I owe him a favour, bugger it.
The Big Bad is named Cul Borson. For those who know Asgard, yes, he's Odin's older brother. He's the God of Fear, banished from the throne and Asgard for the usual crimes against Asgardians. And of course, he was banished to Midgard/Earth, which is how he joined forces with our very own fear-demon, the Dweller in the Dark. They joined forces to take back Cul's throne (the Dweller would get Earth as a reward), got beaten and Cul was imprisoned in a tomb on some island-or-other here. The Dweller went on to eventually latch onto Tandy and the files cover the rest of that story.
Cul was beaten last time with the Odinsword, but it was broken in the last encounter. Asgard's buttoned down tight - no-one's been able to make contact with them - so we can't ask for help there. Now we know what we're fighting, we can work on finding something that'll finish him.
And next time anyone visits Asgard, can we get a fucking list of however more booby traps they've got lurking on Earth?

Auction'll take place in Japan in the next few days and run by a family where you have to know someone to get an invite. XF might want to go check this out and make sure we don't need to step in.
Emergency Assistance Please!

Science bro's lab is basically ruined. Reed's injured (massive electric shock) and we need OUT before we get a visit from French authorities. I'm fine. Filmed the transformation and fight. Got Reed back to the hotel. Foster's staying for the rest of the conference, but we can't.
infodump for XF and XFI
Jun. 15th, 2019 10:01 pmxp_cypherokay, i've gone through all the footage of the attack on the mansion. there was a guy waiting for tandy and sue (or whatever is riding in their respective bodies) who has been seen with tandy before.
our mark's name is cullen zephyr, see the attached dossier for everything i could dig up on him.
in addition, there's that whole 'automatic writing' with the ravens and runes that marie-ange has had going on. turns out it has also involved her texting pictures of ravens from local art installations to herself. so even if we didn't know from the hammer things, there is obviously a big asgardian aspect.
also the art installation birds had some runes that correspond to angie's doodling.
the asgardian word for 'brother' features heavily.
so idk what it all means, but yeah. imma go pass the fuck out now, i'm running on fumes.

I mean I'm like, making sure they're all fed and hydrated and windows are open and stuff and making sure people are remembering that not everyone knows their weird shorthand and to actually use their words and shit but

District X Update

X-Men teams took him down for the count and while figuring out transport, a Viking woman showed up, flattened us with her hammer, then vanished with Cain Marko and the hammer he was swinging.
