Our bug on ‘Femeie cu pisica' finally synched up to a location in Symkaria. I passed the information along to Silver Sable along with the list from Wanda, Amanda, clea and Topaz regarding the items he is known for possessing. The site was hit last night. There will be... a lot of boxes shipped to us over the next couple of weeks of tomes, grimoires (what happened to my life that I had to write that?), amulets, artifacts... whatever. Sable took all the mundane and stupidly expensive art pieces, jewelry and relics. She not only may have forgiven me but even hinted she might owe us.

Melody, be ready for the deluge. As for Wanda, Amanda, Clea, and Topaz, Christmas came early. I expect each package scrutinized, catalogued and made safe. I don't pull the authority card often, but Sefton and Maximoff have made way too many comments about potential magical biohazard to be comfortable to me, and while drunk, Sefton mentioned turning another shapeshifter into a frog accidently.

I'll be a very angry frog.

This morning Rogue and I accompanied Namor to the Gateway National Recreation Area at the behest of one of his contacts. It appeared something has been impacting the local wildlife, damaging the ecosystem. Whilst Namor investigated, Rogue and I were witness to an attack on a nearby beach. Some unknown creature emerged from the sea to kill at least three people before we were able to intervene. Unfortunately we were only able to stagger it; it escaped, and a rather robust police response prevented further investigation.

It is my understanding that Namor intends to perform a physical survey of the area once the scene has cleared. The only information I can provide is that it lacks a mutagenic signature and any significant scent. Amanda, is there such a thing as a spell that might detect any sort of mystical presence in the area? Some demon with a killing touch, perhaps? It had the general appearance of a bog body and was not especially talkative.

Operation successful despite one of the mercenaries or whatever he was attempting to double cross everyone at the exchange. We still got the painting to Faustus' people despite this, so we should be able to track and locate his collection.

And we are slightly over 15 million richer for it. (Slightly because Doug was able to perform some sort of financial slight-of-hand in tandem with those ridiculous 'prediction market' betting sites.)

Most of the money is already folded into our operating funds, but due to the slight windfall, everyone will be receiving a $25,000 bonus. Miss Guthrie, you picked an excellent time to start working with us, consider it a signing bonus.

I am planning on using mine for a manicure and 'hand health detox' or whatever the currently fashionable term is. If you need me in the next twenty-four hours, kindly do not.

I don't pretend to understand the specifics, but it appears the nanites Cypher sequestered within the vehicle during last Friday's incident have finally returned a readable set of coordinates. One assumes these coordinates to be either the location of our missing or the first step in locating the same.

As soon as we have a final location we'll be rolling out a rescue team. Everyone available let me know so I can pick a rescue team and a defense team in case Weapon X thing about hitting us while we're sistracted.

But here we go, update.

So, no surprise we ran into our missing people, and then some. Did you know Kyle has an adamantium skeleton now? If anyone manages to find the formula for this stuff lying around, I'd love you forever.

Oh yeah and you know that Wade Wilson person? They've got him too! He was blasting away with a sniper rifle, he owes me an apology if we ever catch up with him...an we will.

We didn't see Jessie, but the others all seem to be alive and in pretty good health, at least judging by the way they went toe to toe with us.

We've been working on the microchip that was implanted in Laura.

So far all we've managed to figure out is it's meant to be tied into her Limbic system, trying to control or channel her body's natural responses to direct them into whatever they want it to be. It's some real mad scientist stuff.

It'll take a while to peel it apart, but we've started looking into the suppliers. Hopefully we can find enough info to track down the supply chain.

We've confirmed that the missing people are definitely not in the tri-state area. At this point if we want to expand out further we're going to need somewhere to actually focus on. "Find this person wherever in the world they are" is unfortunately not valid.

After today's attempt to abduct Emily and Rictor, we're keeping the two of them - and Pixie - safe under lockdown in the office. I'm not sure how long for - until we can identify the threat and deal with it. I've attached everything we've been able to collect so far, but as you can see, it's not a lot.

Angie's working on a protection roster - at least two of us here at all times, keeping an eye out. Sue's working with Doug to juice up the security; Clea, Topaz and I are doing the same with the wards, and then it's hitting the research until we find out who the fuck these arseholes are and what they want.

Well, Kyle and I debated which of us would be responsible for this report, but alas, he prevailed on the grounds he delivered one a scant week prior.

So, Nevada.

In brief, the readings detected by eXcalibur were indeed indicative of a dimensional breech. It was an alien craft, in every sense of the world; the visitors were not only from another dimension, but space-farers. Those we initially took to be the crew also proved to be shapeshifters colloquially referred to as "the Brood" in their native world, which might itself have been nothing but an amusing cultural difference had they not been intent on covertly propagating their race across the galaxy. I think it may rightly be said that diplomatic relations broke down around the time they began implanting us with their parasitic spawn. We weren't even offered dinner.

The vessel and its rightful crew have departed; Hawkeye and Bruiser successfully assisted in repairs, and it sounds as if Namor and Daredevil advised on some diplomatic concerns as well. Further, all present underwent rigorous examination and treatment before returning to ensure no unwanted hitchhikers. We have been cleared through the Medlab as well as an additional precaution.

Once again, my apologies to Mockingbird for suggesting this as a first mission. However, your catch with the cryo-suite was quite invaluable.

I got fucking nothing off any damn scent trails over at the school - just that Kimura chick and nobody else, which means either she was operating solo -or- whoever was there with her was good. I don't wanna think it's the second one but I can't rule it out.

The parents of a young mutant woman who died from an apparent drug overdose in October hired XFI to look into the circumstances of her death. I've attached our draft report, but basically, a new formulation of Kick called Rush is being distributed in the clubs. It's laced with some additive that triggers uncontrollable power manifestation that is nearly always fatal. We've not yet identified any intervention to stop an OD, like Narcan (which itself is useless).

We've discovered this is not simply a matter of profit over lives like mixing fentanyl with party drugs. This is a concerted effort by our old sapiens friends the Purifiers to flood the streets with drugs that not only are invariably fatal to mutants, but risk collateral damage as well. They call it Operation Noah. More Biblical cover for genocide.

We have pinpointed a warehouse in Brooklyn that appears to be their center of operations and manufacturing. Loathe as I am to admit it, interference may be beyond XFI's capabilities. I propose shepherding a small company of X-Men to the warehouse for reconnaissance and, very likely, a raid.
