X-Force Only: Guests - Invited and Uninvited

After today's attempt to abduct Emily and Rictor, we're keeping the two of them - and Pixie - safe under lockdown in the office. I'm not sure how long for - until we can identify the threat and deal with it. I've attached everything we've been able to collect so far, but as you can see, it's not a lot.

Angie's working on a protection roster - at least two of us here at all times, keeping an eye out. Sue's working with Doug to juice up the security; Clea, Topaz and I are doing the same with the wards, and then it's hitting the research until we find out who the fuck these arseholes are and what they want.

Introducing the newest pains in our arses: The Salem Seven. They're a group of magical assassins summoned by a group from the Dark Path who won't stop until their targets (us) are dead.

From what I can also come up with they are seriously bad news. Allegedly they were daughters of witches from the Witch Trials. They made a bargain with a demon for more power for revenge. But apparently making a deal with demons has strings attached, as they can be summoned for the purpose of hunting down targets.

Between the two of you I would like a workup of their capabilities ASAP.

Shapeshifting. So far we have seen a Coyote, Crow, Fox, Owl, Rat, and Snake. Topaz and I may have spotted their leader a few days ago, unsure what their animal is, if they have one.

From Rictor and Emily's accounts they can alter reality. They said the entire road was torn up but then suddenly everything was put back to the way it was prior to the attack. And it seems black smoke is their way of teleporting. As they are witches, it is safe to assume they are capable of doing what Amanda, Topaz, and myself can do.

Not that it seems worth the whole 'bargain with a demon' piece though.

I'm gonna guess there's boatloads of blood magic involved (given the whole magical assassin angle), so me and my allergic reaction are gonna be concentrated on the research and security side of things.

I haven't found the spell or ritual on how to summon them in any of the dark spell books I have access too so that piece of information seems to be tightly sealed. But it is safe to assume that blood magic was and is involved.

Could you search the dark web for anything? I don't know if there will be anything, but just in case?
