Alert sent to the X-Men

Coming through on an old CB radio band with the appropriate code to tag the X-Men's monitors.

Hi, this is Spectrum. Purifiers have attacked Claremont Hospital and no-one can get in or out. There's some sort of shielding up. There's also a woman, a mutant, they're threatening to kill her kid if she doesn't use her powers to blow the place up. We've got her safe for now, but you need to find her daughter. Her name's Maria Fernando, they have her in a hotel, I think? Her mother's name is Esme.

Don't worry about us just yet, find the kid. Her mother's going crazy with worry and that's bad when you can explode. Um, over and out?

So, the good news is that not only are the Purifiers going away for a long time over this, but at least one has already rolled over and agreed to spill his guts for a plea deal. The state AG and the Bureau are in discussions just how they wanted to handle it, but based on what they said, Esme's role in all of this is more valuable to them as a way to go after more of the Purifiers that this guy might be able to identify as opposed to jailing her. In case you didn't know, kidnapping is the highest sin in the FBIs book, so they'll make a lot of deals in order to go after these assholes with everything they got. Her kid is safe and she's got a decent chance at a very good deal.

The bad is that I went to 'review' the security footage that might have had the X-Men in it, or any powers use by our people. There was nothing. Nothing, as in any sections of data that might have had any of us in them had obviously been tampered with. I sent the records over to Snow Valley to see if they could find any clues, but someone either hacked in or had access and was ready to grab those files.
