I have been following the news the past few weeks and trying to get a read on the circumstances in the Middle-East, but the situation is worrying me. I would say the circumstances towards mutants are hostile in many places. I have received at least three reports of violence against mutants, though I haven't been able to confirm them independantly. Another thing I have heard is that the events of M-Day are being used as an argument for fatwa's against mutants. Again unsubstantiated, but still worrying.

I hate to say it, but in these circumstances it's going to be hard to offer humanitarian aid. At least for aid above the ground...

It also doesn't help many contacts cannot be reached. Either they don't answer or... they are simply not there.
