Remind me to give my supervisors all the flowers. They've given me as much time as I need. (I lied and claimed a dead relative. If anyone calls for me, let them know I'm out of town. )

How is everyone else? Do we need to cover for outside shifts?

After the last few mysterious absences from work, I have contingency plans in place. My coworkers do occasionally get suspicious, though.

The joy of being one of the main Xavier Doctors? I have a feeling I'm going to have to think up some contingencies given excaliber duties.

Emergency Medicine residency is a little full on at the best of times. There's only so many dead relatives one can claim before your Attending starts looking at you funny.

It will come in handy. One of the doctors at Claremont is a hot head and he feels like he has to be the best. He tries to do everything he can to make me look bad. Asshole.

My cover is that I do international work to help provide medical care for people and mutants in third world countries, and sometimes I get called in randomly. Its not far off base.

I hate the arrogant ones. One of the Attendings here loves to make the Residents do all the work and then swoop in for the victory praise at the end. It is beyond annoying.

Especially since he leaves the patient family consoling to us when someone passes.

I probably need to get one soon. They've been pushing me about whether I'm going to apply for a Fellowship once I finish my residency. I'm not sure yet, it would be extra training but it's not like I'm not getting that at Xavier's anyway.

Seriously? Feels there's a stock attending like that at every hospital. I had one during my residency too.

Tough one. I can't help you there. I tend to be the 'more training? yes please!' type, for better or worse. Usually worse. Especially after all of these mansion patients.
