Our unstable Einstein-Rosen bridge has decided it wants to connect with the weirdly anomalous (even considering how many anomalous things we see, it's seriously weird and... bulgy) reality noted a day-ish ago.

Mols, I'ma need you down here with the drones as soon as you're available. We've got the usual monitoring going and there's no influx of bad people or anything, but the more we know, the better prepared we'll be if we have to hop through.

I mean, there's always the possibility it'll fix itself, right? We've seen that. Like three times. But! Let's never say we're not an optimistic team.

Short answer hypothesis: High tech meets middle tech. Backwards compatibility no go. I think the high tech "frequency" doesn't play well with the lower tech. It's been futzing with my drones for hours. Like the signal keeps getting corrupted. It doesn't normally do that.

We are intrigued.

Define "weirdly" and "anomalous" in regard to anything else we have seen.

I mean like. Usually the anomalies are... not stable, necessarily, but they don't actually fluctuate that much. If you check the readings coming through now, it's like there's some kind of interference with our tech, which shouldn't be possible. The only type of interference that should impact our readings should be from our own side, but we're so insulated against that -- that's why it's weird.

Like, say you and I are standing in the same room talking. You're speaking at your normal volume level, but I'm yelling back at you, even though we're not fighting. I'm just responding normally, but at a much louder frequency. That's what a normal anomaly would be.

This anomaly is like that, but it's almost like there's a third variable somewhere that's making my voice go from a shout to a whisper and back again really quickly. I have no idea what's causing that, so. We need to be very careful while handling this.

the vending machine is always weird. i got a blue drink that smells like beer and tastes like cotton candy, it is very gross. also chocolate candy that exploded in my mouth for several seconds and had faint fruity aftertaste.
