Did anyone else see the news story about the mutant they found in District X? There is no way that could be just a random animal attack.

I checked some of our sources and the Chronicle had it right, the police really don't care about this case, even though he was ripped apart in an obvious murder. And right in our backyard too. I'm going to keep an eye on the situation with the NYPD but I don't think they're really interested in finding out any information about the case.

Christ, seriously? "Hey guys we know some monster ripped up a dude but he's a mutant so it's fine. We'll care when someone who DOESN'T look like a mutant gets hurt."

Right, but is it all of the NYPD or just the part that's supposed to be keeping an eye on DX? After that stuff that went down with the kids there, it seems like the neighborhood's going downhill pretty fast.

Would it be worth maybe having some of our people more closely monitor the area? Beyond the tech side, I mean. Not vigilante style, but... something similar.
