So yeah, send help? I've been scouting but I can't get them out by myself. They're too well guarded.

The girl is Amara, she's kind of traumatised 'cause her manifestation... wasn't a good one, details are in the files. She's sort of a pyrokinetic but with lava, best I can tell. The boy's Jean-Paul, and he can fly but we're not sure what else yet. He was a professional skier in Canada and there might be a lot of talk in the press about why he's vanished, and even more if anybody finds out he's a mutant.

Yes, evil Biotech, Sentinels, blah blah blah.
But I digress: I would like to hire XFI to do some digging around for me. What went missing? Why? Who leaked the information?

Attached are a few documents with employee information and locations. I'm afraid I don't know very much.

Guy wants to use our databases to search for info on the country Latveria. Turns out SWORD (who this guy doesn't even work for anymore, apparently, so I don't know yet what his motives are for doing this) had something stolen from them and brought to Latveria. Barton wants to find out more about the country.
We'll also need someone to babysit him while he's going through our systems. No way I'm letting a former SWORD flunkie have unfettered access to our systems.
May also need people on stand-by to go to Latveria in a hurry. If this thing he's looking for is some kind of weapon or something this guy shouldn't have, I want us ready to intercept.

xp_daytripperI was going to send an email, but then I remembered we're all on this thing together.
So, our visitor in the medlab. Initial talk seems to indicate he's an actual Atlantean - does anyone mind if I have a chat to him about who he is and what his intentions are? I'd rather avoid another magical-related catastrophe, and he's apparently linked to the staff we took from Tandy's guardian demon a couple of years ago. I figure we can kill two birds with one stone - I grill him on the magic side, and one of the leather brigade do the safety speech?
Also, what's with this Clint bloke? What's his interest in all this? And how much can we trust him?

Not entirely sure where yet, but I'll have my laptop and phone and I'll try to keep my PA (aka Rogue) updated as to my whereabouts so, while I'm anticipating that you lot won't need me for anything, feel free to contact her if you can't get ahold of me via the above communicative devices.

x-adrienne.livejournal.comSince everyone was so chill about Warren Worthington joining our ranks, I went ahead and offered employment to another mansionite- Lorna Dane. Her sister is Wanda Maximoff and she's a former spy against the Brotherhood which means she has a great deal of useful knowledge and contacts we can plumb for our own purposes. She also makes really good omelettes. Please don't haze her the way you did Worthington. I actually like this one.
And as a further announcement, Kane's taking me to Florida fora week or two the weekend. We're leaving Thursday afternoon Friday. I'll be available by cell and will be checking my email regularly. Here's hoping you guys get that Johnas case wrapped before I get back because I do not want to deal with that spaz of a woman when I'm supposed to be all relaxed and not homicidal anymore.
If you read in the news about a Jays fan being bludgeoned at a Red Sox Spring Training game, send bail money for me, please and thank you.

x-adrienne.livejournal.comNot sure if any of you have met Warren Worthington yet, but I ran into him earlier today. He's interested in working with us. And he offered up the use of an office building. A place outside the mansion where we can meet clients. It's in Alphabet City.
Worthington said he'd be going out of town in the next day or so but, if it suits you all, he could show us the place when he gets back.

He's taken care of meeting with them and has arranged transportion for Roxanne to the mansion. He'll be accompanying her and they should be getting here sometime before nine tonight.

I'm pretty sure if I can notice it, others can too, and that could mean some kind of messy backlash against the handiest, most visible mutant population. Like District X. X-Factor folks, you might want to keep ears to the ground and eyes peeled and all that.
Edit: Someone might want to talk to Longshot - this is his sort of thing, isn't it? Lucky accidents?

While I was travelling back to the mansion, Lorna Dane reached out to me. As all of you know, Lorna's my half sister - as most of the team knew, she's been acting as a mole in Magneto's Brotherhood for us for some time. It had suddenly come to light that there was a mole and Lorna figured it was only a matter of time before they realized it was her.
She got to one of the safe houses we had set up for a situation just like this and I was able to re-arrange my connecting flight so I could grab her. We're at the airport and so far there's been no sign of trouble.
But this is the Brotherhood and ... I can only imagine the anger that will result in Magneto finding out Lorna was spying. Regardless of teams being disbanded, this was something everyone needed to know, especially if something happens between California and New York.
Ten minutes until boarding. We'll hopefully be home stupidly early after this red eye.
