okay, i've gone through all the footage of the attack on the mansion. there was a guy waiting for tandy and sue (or whatever is riding in their respective bodies) who has been seen with tandy before.

our mark's name is cullen zephyr, see the attached dossier for everything i could dig up on him.

in addition, there's that whole 'automatic writing' with the ravens and runes that marie-ange has had going on. turns out it has also involved her texting pictures of ravens from local art installations to herself. so even if we didn't know from the hammer things, there is obviously a big asgardian aspect.

also the art installation birds had some runes that correspond to angie's doodling.

the asgardian word for 'brother' features heavily.

so idk what it all means, but yeah. imma go pass the fuck out now, i'm running on fumes.

all teams - I am pretty sure like, every science type that we have at eXcalibur is holed up in a lab together trying to figure out what's up with those hammers and man I have never felt more useless

I have no good immediate futures that I can see that start with Topaz being gone.

I require all hands on deck, track anything you know of where she may have gone.

Kevin Sydney was admitted to the Medlab 45 minutes ago with extensive injuries and unresponsive. Despite every effort, all attempts at resuscitation have failed. As doctor on duty I am sad to report the official time of death at 7:03pm.

I don't know if anyone's planning to go anywhere near the Bermuda Triangle, but just don't. Word on the magical grapevine is that there's all sorts of weird shite going on there. Leyline disturbances, random waterspouts, missing boats, that sort of thing. I'm tracking it for now, and I'll let you know if things get worse.

i have had a shitty, shitty last 72 hours, i have a wrenched shoulder and knee covered in kineso tape and three fingers in a splint so youre not getting capital letters. deal with it. i have been awake for too long, also and only just heard from my last source because he got drunk and had to sober up enough to call me. i need better people.

i have been working with my contacts in la to find out exactly that the sapiens league are doing. i flew in right before topaz and clea had their little adventure so i am very short on sleep right now and i have ever mentioned that la is the ass end of the universe even more so than yesterday's dark dimension? i have a lecture, if you're interested and there are power point slides. or will be. it is a good lecture and you should come and see it. i will get someone to record my notes so you can listen to it properly.

Briefing summary:

the sapiens league are making their move tomorrow. evening of 10 october. they have someone inside the police station and will be making a move on that stupid emerald.

it is currently in the police vault. Attachment: santa ana police precinct plans i got in as a janitor and checked the dimensions and layout. it's mostly as stated when the precinct was built. major changes highlighted. could not make entry to vault or get eyes on security. did get to clean the lockup toilets. that sucked.

they are planning to move it to an undisclosed location and turn it into weapons of mass destruction because of course they are. i don't know where. you will need to keep eyes on the precinct.

We lost Quentin Quire last night. We've been working quietly to notify those he was close with before I made this report.

Last night at the Snow Valley offices, I was assisting Amanda with a spell she was trying in the wake of what happened in the Medlab last week. Things went south when Quentin showed up, more than a little possessed by the thing that had gone after Jean.

And of course we had Stephen and Illyana in the room as Amanda had needed more assistance than I could bring.

During the psi fight, I managed to get Stephen and Illyana out so I didn't see the end of the fight between the psionics but...

Quentin managed to regain enough control and, apparently, decided the only way to stop the entity possessing him was to sacrifice himself.

No other major injuries, physical at least.

(For my team, please avoid the one office with a hole in the wall and a broken window until I can get contractors in to fix it. It's not hard to miss.)

Subject: Giant Green Jewel of Death.

As you may or not know we've been trying to track down the source of these green jewels that seem to be making people sick. We've run into a dead end now though, we now there's a giant green emerald out there somewhere but we can't trace it any further. It's dropped off the map, which is worrying.

I've summarised all our findings so far and have uploaded them to the mansions servers if anyone can see something we missed.

If anyone needs any more information and member of the team will be glad to help.

So basically, here's a bunch of stuff we've found out about the poisonous rocks:

1) We found them at about five different places in NYC, all tourist-type places. We've bought out the stock. Thank you Warren's credit card. Sue's passed them all on to the Science-y people.

2) The pendant seem to have come from a company owned by some dude named Charles Barnabas (you know he got teased for that name). Did some digging on him, apparently about ten years ago he and two other dudes imported a giant emerald from South America to the U.S. Apparently they thought it would make them rich. Idk.

3) Apparently, old Barnabas didn't realize the emerald would make mutants sick. He broke things off with the parnters - Tomas Dlurga and Adam Adams (poor guy), and took a big old chunk of emerald as payment. He decided to have his wife turn them into jewelry and they started selling them to stores.

The good news is, Barnabas isn't a dick. We got ahold of him and told him what's up, and he handed over what he had left of the emerald, and a list of places they supplied it to. We're chasing that down now.

No idea what's up with the rest of the emerald, I assume DLurga and Adam Adams (seriously who does that to their kid) have it.

So, people better with computers than me looked into some stuff, and found out that everyone we know who's gotten sick owned one of those pendant things like the ones Bobbi brought back. And everyone who's been sick was apparently at some kind tourist-y place, ya know, street fair, bodega, etc. etc., or knew someone who was.

I'm all for weird coincidences, but that seems like way too much.
