Everyone, the situation in Baltimore has become more dire than when Logan called for X-Men several hours ago.

At this time, anyone who is able to provide aid against extremely enlarged crabs (and other forms of sea life), please assemble at the outdoor emergency rally point. The Blackbird is returning to the mansion presently to gather everyone who is willing to come.

I stress that this is an 'all residents' emergency, you do not have to be an X-Man to provide assistance. The National Guard is currently deploying into Baltimore's harbor, and there is a rumor that the Avengers may deploy as well.

The "easy" problem we left to deal with yesterday dropped two more bodies on us during a ritual trying to contact a spirit. Or I guess they dropped Clea and Pixie on the bodies. Either way, there's more to this than we thought. Need everyone who can on the next train out this way.

The piece of the mission that likely most needs emphasizing is that the facility we were called to defend was building Sentinels.

There is much I do not know. How did Erik find out what was happening? Did SHIELD send us to this place knowing what was being built?

Doug, remind me that I need to go over Sango with you at least in the next month. My French got me by this time but not understanding half of what is being said except by translator is a PITA.

I'm headed home in a day or two. I've managed to do some groundwork here but this one is going to take us a while. The local mutant population is suspicious as hell of anyone from outside their group and they're expecting some proof before they'll throw their lot in with us, or even give us a seat at the negotiating table.

This country has a lot of mineral wealth, and the little that was said to me seems to confirm they're starting to look at mutants as a possible resource as well.

We don't want another fucking Genosha on our hands.

Okay, so I think just about everyone knows that we have weird future shenanigans going on in the mansion. The deal is that they are here to prevent another person from there/then from murdering people here/now.

Grammar is frustrating when time travel is involved and this is me saying this.

We have a plan, we have a location, we just need people.

There's likely to be magical messyness, demons, spells, horrible mystical creature yadda yadda. We could use some volunteers who want to get their fight on.

Just got a weird alert from Topaz. Seems she's been... well attacked probably isn't the right word, but she's had an encounter with another emotion draining witch type. Her memory's a bit jumbled because of it so she can't give details, but folks should keep an eye out. I'm going through sources now, but anyone else with magic connections especially, it would be a great help if you looked into it.

Topaz is okay - she's on her way back to the mansion now.

I have hired on Topaz, effective tomorrow morning. She will be on front desk rotation with Clea and similar to Clea, working with Amanda and Wanda on any magical nonsense that comes out way.

The front desk rotation schedule will begin Monday. Clea, you are still on full time desk duties until then, while we determine how to schedule it training and other duties you both have.

I will also be sending some calendar invites to several of you to cover basic spycraft and fight training, technology updates and the like.

I am doing this on voice to text because I don't wanna get glitter in my keyboard and someone dumped glitter on me sometime last night

Blink put in a all call to everyone to assist with some Friends of Humanity fuckos who were fuckoing up the setup for the Met Gala (and for everyone who doesn't know what that is, it's a big ass fashion fundraiser party for the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art

anyway the FoH fuckos were setting fires and trying to fuck up exhibits and maybe stealing shit I don't know because and I am not entirely sure on their position exactly but one of the dudes did say he was mad they had hired some mutants as staff but I also had him in a headlock so maybe it's not accurate

anyway, Blink did an all call, a bunch of us showed up I actually don't know who besides me, Quentin, Wanda, Hope, Emma - fuck, I lost track and I wasn't taking notes. Look, if you were there and punching FoH assholes or cleaning up video tape or putting out fires sign off here because I lost track and I don't know everyone's code names anymore

anyway big news this morning is that the Met Gala is hella postponed, because fires was set, and a bunch of celebrities are like, posting their "I woulda worn this" outfits to insta.

Some news came through my network about an auction with a hammer that matches the descriptions of the ones appearing and disappearing all over the place. Auction'll take place in Japan in the next few days and run by a family where you have to know someone to get an invite. XF might want to go check this out and make sure we don't need to step in.

okay, i've gone through all the footage of the attack on the mansion. there was a guy waiting for tandy and sue (or whatever is riding in their respective bodies) who has been seen with tandy before.

our mark's name is cullen zephyr, see the attached dossier for everything i could dig up on him.

in addition, there's that whole 'automatic writing' with the ravens and runes that marie-ange has had going on. turns out it has also involved her texting pictures of ravens from local art installations to herself. so even if we didn't know from the hammer things, there is obviously a big asgardian aspect.

also the art installation birds had some runes that correspond to angie's doodling.

the asgardian word for 'brother' features heavily.

so idk what it all means, but yeah. imma go pass the fuck out now, i'm running on fumes.

Heading to China for a week or two, getting intel about a thing I don't understand tied to a mission I wasn't involved in. You all should have the utmost confidence that I will successfully achieve the job I'm not quite clear on by accomplishing the parameters I'm only the slightest bit familiar with.

Checked in on a contact in LA on the way home from Amanda's french palace-slash-mansion.

Contact is an asshole and he punched me in the face. Got checked at the ER (invoices attached). Mild concussion, doc recommended a few days off work, rest, relaxation etc.

As per protocol, since this isn't urgent, I've pulled the plug and am headed back on the red eye which leaves in about half an hour. (report attached.)

Amanda, thank you for the vacation. I'm pretty sure this redeye would be more unpleasant if I wasn't on France time still.

Now the family stuff is done, I have tickets for everyone to spend New Year's in Beaumont-les-Bains with me in my house. Yes, I have a house. It's a nice one, plenty of room for all and a never-ending booze cellar. We also have an invitation to dinner with the Baron d'Rochefort on New Year's Eve itself. Everyone is not only welcome, but strongly encouraged to come - whoever stays has to man the office. ;)

And yes, Natasha and Clea, being team, you're invited as well.
